Good times with good friends
With LJers having fun in aapli Mumbai I thought why not have a small get together at my place for Y!s and friends of Y!s.

[info]premshree, [info]teemus and I got together on a nice sunday morning at airport road. Picked up a nice load of groceries and headed off to my place to start cooking.

Premshree, Teemus, Roger, VG and I then got ready to do some hilarious mouth-watering experiments in the kitchen. We ended up cooking up a nice meal comprising of rice, dal, soya nugget curry, fish fry and chicken nugget fry (delicious).

Half way through the cooking Val joined us. She would have liked to make some pulao but we decided it would be better if we left the cooking to the experts :P

Val had got a tub full of ice cream which we devoured after the lunch. Thanks a million Val ... it was really awesome.

All of us then cuddled up in bed watching episodes of the BBC comedy - Coupling. Coupling suddenly has become very popular with Y!s. Highly recommended.

Upside: Everyone had loads of fun. Lot's of conversations and really good laughs. You cannot avoid that with Teemus around.

Downside: [info]hitesh decided to play his "spoilsport" card again and boycotted the lunch. When will this guy get over his obsession for leading a sucky life? blah!

We should make this into a weekly affair. Would be nice to get together with close friends at a different place every sunday and spend the afternoon having good food and loads of fun.

You would love the song that I made up today at the Y! cafeteria (cafetix) ... will sing it for you when you come down to blr for the new year eve ;-)

BTW, Y! is having a year end party this weekend (saturday). It's a day long event at some place viz. Club Cabana (don't know where it is). Would be exhilarated if you could come to the party :)

I really dont mind contributing as long as hitesh doesn't screw up the entire thing.

IMO she will come and go and hitesh will still not make a move.

I just read your comment. If I remember correctly I was first invited to cook pulao and when i decline the invitation I was then told that I didn't have to cook :-)Anyways i did help out with the washing of the dishes.

Seems like I was the only 'friend' of Y!'s that was invited and was around :)wondering if it was mainly coz of my culinary skills ;-)
